At Yeshiva Zichron Aryeh, learning never remains abstract, and one size never fits all. We encourage our talmidim to ask, to challenge, to consider context, and to take nothing for granted, to dig deeper to get to the heart of the Torah they learn. We make tremendous effort to extensively analyze the text in order to withdraw the deepest understanding from the Chazal being learned.
As a result of this approach, the knowledge our students absorb—both in breadth and depth— doesn’t only remain intellectual; it also has a direct effect on their personal development, as well as instilling the passion, commitment, and skills necessary to serve klal Yisroel.
We live mussar
We believe that in-depth Gemara learning is most successful when complemented by mussar and hashkafa—with a strong focus on אמונה & ביטחון. Students don’t only learn mussar as a subject; limud hamussar extends to include weekly shmuessen and mussar chaburahs given by students.
Students ultimately gain a well-rounded and deep-rooted understanding of mussar and hashkafa, with the ability to better understand themselves and relate to others skills that are essential to become Talmidei Chachamim and to be equipped for careers in chinuch.

For those who choose the path of chinuch, Kollel Ner Yehoshua, housed in the yeshiva, offers intensive limud Torah and mussar alongside unique training in identifying and addressing the challenges of chinuch today.
